How do I sign up?

Create an account by clicking "Log in", and sign up for an account. On mobile, you can access this by clicking the top right hand button to access the dashboard. Once you have created an account, you can register for a paid digital subscription either by clicking the "Subscribe" button, or finding the subscription page in your settings.

Once you have selected the paid subscription plan, a pop-up will appear. If you already have a subscription associated with your account, don't worry - the system will know!

Input your details, then proceed to the payment details. It will ask for your bank details, and these will be stored safely and securely on our servers. You can remove your card details at any time from Account Settings.

Follow the instructions on the pop-up until your transaction is complete. When your subscription is fully registered, you will have access to all paid content in News Online, our digital archive.

Where will I find the online newspapers?

You'll find all editions in the News Online section of this website

Do I need a paid subscription to read the online newspapers?

Yes, you will need a paid subscription to access and read the newspapers from edition #2 November 2024 - onwards. Edition #1 October 2024 is available free of charge for anyone to read.

How much does a subscription cost?

A subscription costs £25 for one year.

Can I get paper copies with my subscription?

No. The online subscription is ONLY for digital copies of the newspaper. If you would like a paper copy of The Nairnshire, you can buy in store from any of our stockists, or arrange a by-post subscription by contacting orders@nairnshire.org

How do I log in/out on mobile?

The mobile website has a hidden dashboard that you can access in the top right-hand corner of the page. You can log into your account by clicking your profile picture or Account. To log out of your account, click your profile picture to access the white dropdown and click "Log Out".

I can't find the dashboard on certain mobile pages, where is it?

If you click the back button, you will be able to return to your previous page(s). Certain pages do not have a header or footer, to increase readability, and therefore no access to the dashboard. Please return either to a page with a header and footer, or straight to the home page.

What font do I use to submit articles in?

Our House Standards are to use Source Sans Pro, Size 10, in black - but when you submit an article, feel free to use whatever local font & size feels comfortable. Our Proofing Team exists to tweak and otherwise standardise submissions for the Editorial Team!
