About the newspaper
The Nairnshire Community Newspaper is published by Nairnshire Community Newspaper SCIO, a charity registered under no. SC053080.
We are a non-profit organisation, any excess funds generated are ploughed back into the Charity. The charity operates completely independently and is not affiliated with any other publisher or organisation.
Our mission is to create a newspaper “by the community, for the community”, one that keeps the people of Nairn and Nairnshire informed about local news, events and issues that matter to them. The newspaper is published monthly and is staffed almost entirely by volunteers.
The printed version of the newspaper is available for free from our Distribution Hubs, with the full updated list available on our social media. You can also read individual articles on our Substack - nairnshire.substack.com
